ABOUT

Flora Yin is a production designer, classically trained in architecture from the University of Toronto. For the past 7 years, she has been experimenting with different mediums throughout various creative industries in Toronto and Hong Kong. 

With her extensive knowledge for graphic design, digital rendering and structural fabrication, she is able to idealize and execute every step of the way. 

Flora has created highly curated commercials for Google, Amazon, Walmart, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Volkswagen, Soundcloud, and Uber. Some of her music video clients include Drake, Anitta, Lil Yachty, Tate Mcrae, and Baka Not Nice. Her narrative design work has been featured in numerous film festivals including the Toronto International Film Festival, Vancouver Asian Film Festival and Canadian Film Festival. 

Flora is Chinese-Canadian and prioritizes working with other BIPOC and LGBTQ+ filmmakers. She continues to advocate diversity in commercial production and mentors for HXOUSE and Higher Hire :)
